As its name suggests microdosing is the practice of taking a small  sub-perceptual dose of a psychedelic substance, such as psilocybin, on a regular basis.

The idea behind microdosing is to experience the benefits of these substances without the intense hallucinogenic effects associated with higher doses, and without impairing daily function. So while you may not necessarily "feel" the effects of microdosing rest assured that they are working hard behind the scenes and that a noticeable difference may sometimes take a few weeks.

Microdosing is meant to compliment a health strategy, therapy, and mindful practices, and is most effective when used alongside an intentional strategy or schedule.

How should I start Microdosing?

Unlike the magic 8 ball the are no "it is decidedly so answers" and it it always nice to revisit or reevaluate the entire process to see if it's working for you.

WHY? Whatever you reason is, having a why and setting an intention can be a helpful way to commit to and focus on your goals.

Timing. Determine a schedule that works best fo you and your lifestyle. Be sure to give yourself adequate days off to reset.

Dose, Dose, Goose. Finding which dose ot combination of ones is optimal might take a few tries. So be patient you will get there!

Track you experience. Keeping a journal is an excellent way to reflect on your journey, as well as monitor dosing levels and their effects.

When the magic wears off.  Microdosing isn't a magic fix! It's a tool that should be used alongside other routines (therapy, meditation etc.) to achieve a desired outcome, not a dependency.

Will I feel high?

To break it down a typical microdose ranges from 50-300mg. Our products range from 50-200 mg which are suitable for beginners and more advanced psychonauts. Individual sensitivities can vary, and what may be a microdose for one person might be more perceptible for another so if you are new to microdosing we suggest starting with a smaller dose.

*If at anytime you are feeling anxious or maybe too "high" consider lowering your dose, or stopping altogether.

How often should you microdose?

There are a few schools of thought on this topic so bear with us this section is full of information. There is no right or wrong dosing protocol and we usually recommend choosing a strategy that works for you and your lifestyle.

The main thing to remember is to not do it everyday. Overtime your body will build up an immunity to psilocybin so taking days off to rest and reset is highly encouraged and beneficial.

Below are a few of the most common approaches to microdosing as a guide to help you get started.

Fadiman Protocol (Beginner)

Named after James Fadiman aka the "father of microdosing" this protocol is all about the in-between. It promotes dosing once every three days with one transition and one normal day of rest between. It is intended to be followed for a 4 - 8 week cycle, with two to four weeks in-between.

Day 1: Microdose 1
Day 2: Transition
Day3: Normal/Rest
Day 4: Microdose 2

Stamets Protocol

Invented and named after Paul Stamets, the world renowned mycology guru and author, it suggests four days on and three days off, on a four week cycle with two - four weeks of rest in-between.

Day 1-4: Microdose
Day 5-7: Transition/Rest
Day 8-11: Microdose

Intuitive Protocol

After experimenting with dosing routines, many people prefer to customize their own unique schedule. You know your body best so feel free to experiment with what works best for you!

But remember, it it always recommended to take days off to give your body a chance to rest, recover, and heal to prevent building up a tolerance and get the most out of your microdosing journey.

Our products are entirely organic, vegan, and made by hand in small batches. Our psilocybin mushrooms are locally sourced and our functional ones are grown and harvested on the west coast of Canada. We believe in reducing our footprint and are committed to sustainability which means that our packaging is entirely backyard compostable so we can all sleep better knowing the fungi and planet are thriving.

What happens after I place an order?

Accepted Answer

Once you place an order you will receive a confirmation email with payment instructions. For Canadian orders please send an  e-transfer (including shipping amount) to champsdelysium@protonmail.com.(champsdelysium@protonmail.com) Orders typically ship within 3-5 days and once they have been sent you will receive an email with tracking information.

How will my order be shipped?

We ship our products via Canada Post in discrete packaging, at a flat rate of $17 Canada wide.

We do not currently ship internationally.

Can I make changes to an order?

Accepted Answer

We will do our best to accommodate any modifications within a reasonable timeframe. However, if you have already sent through a payment we cannot offer a price adjustment but may be able to switch a product. If you have not sent a payment we may be able to cancel your order but please contact us ASAP. 
Additionally, if you notice an error with your shipping address please contact us as soon as possible, but we cannot guarantee we will be able to update it before your order is sent.
